How to fall with grace

So...throughout my 20 years on the planet I've had my share of cuts and scrapes. When I injure myself, I've always had my Dad's insurance to cushion the fall. Last night, after climbing and sinking into a snow mountain outside of Martin's Grocery Store, I was walking to E-hall on campus with my friends Rheanna and Christine. For some odd reason, I think it's because I ran out of socks in my laundry cycle, I decided to wear flip flops around. Being the Brockward person that I am, this decision shouldn't surprise many. This decision, however, was ill-fated, as I wiped out on the sidewalk. This patch of ice looked like snow, it was white and had a layer of powder on top. Either way, as I fell, something took over, and I protected my good leg by straightening it out. While doing this, I ended up bending my bad knee and falling upon it. This was pretty much the icing on the cake for my knee problems. Not able to walk on it, I finally took time out of my life to get it checked out. With the likelihood of arthroscopic surgery on the way, I need to start keeping myself out of harms way a little more.
